Mission: Serdc's mission statement:
Programs: Serdc 120 was an effort to bring several consumer product companies and retailers together to improve recycling efforts. Serdc 120 concluded with the walmart sustainablity expo and the launch of the recycling partnership. Serdc presented information at conferences, meetings and webinars a total of 54 times from new orleans to washington, dc . The agency continued to provide support to state and local officials through seminars, symposiums, technical assistance and data to legislative bodies on conservation and environmental issues. The agency held legislative days in two states in 2014 and supported the efforts of others in another three states. The agency held its annual recycling summit which included workshops and developed policy initiatives and provided support for state recycling organizations.
