Sanborn Mills is an outstanding, original organization that promotes the education and exercise of traditional skills and crafts such as blacksmithing, oxen team leading, and timber harvesting. My son and I signed up for a weekend of blacksmithing where we learned from a board member of the League of NH Craftsman in outstanding blacksmithing facilities. We spend our entire time learning new techniques and immediately putting them to use in the smithy on site. The staff was professional and provided an unprecedented experience that make our stay very enjoyable. We look forward to many more years of participation and learning through Sanborn Mills!

Get the word out! Although the Cabots are keeping a low profile in order to refine the offering before going more public, there's no time like the present to build interest!
