Our foundation provides more than $250,000 in scholarships each year and approximately the same amount in program grants for three community colleges in San Mateo County, California. Some of our major projects at present relate to childcare for low-income students, library books, and theatre remodeling. We keep our overhead very low and provide a quarterly newsletter and annual report.
San Mateo County Community Colleges Foundation provides scholarships, funds for child care center for parents taking classes, library books, special summer programs for high school students, drug and alcohol prevention programs, and other projects.

Reviews for San Mateo County Community Colleges Foundation
My name is Angelica Klein and I've volunteered for the Second Harvest Food Bank (SHFB) San Mateo County for many years. The SHFB is my favorite non-profit organization. Their food sorting project is well organized and it is so much fun to participate in it. The staff at the SHFB are professional, genuine and caring individuals. They have compassion for those they serve and respect for those that help them carry their mission to feed those in need. Thank you.
