With the shortage of affordable housing in San Francisco. SFHDC is providing a much needed service by offering its Homebuyer Education Program that assist with the confusing world of federal, state, and local down payment assistance. First, I attended their 1st time homebuyers workshop and everything became clear with the follow up counseling they provided. With their help I was able to buy my first home in San Francisco. Kudos to SFHDC!!!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

3 months.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

hire more counselors.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the one-on-one counseling they provide.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

knowledgeable about the afforbale housing programs.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

hire more counselors and support staff.

Ways to make it better...

the counselors weren't so busy.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

the limited capacity due to the demand for their services.

One thing I'd also say is that...

this is an excellent service in a market with a serious housing shortage/
