This is my daughter's first year as a trainee with the company and it has been an amazing experience. Watching her blossom has been the greatest reward. Before she became a member we would come to the shows and she would be in awe.
My best friend works for Respite Care of San Antonio and San Antonio Met Ballet always provides them with tickets so these wonderful special needs children who are in foster care can experience the Arts, something they may never have the chance to do. Providing shows for children in Title 1 schools who would probably never see a ballet is an awesome thing. They really give back to the community. They also open auditions to the community to allow children who are not in their studio to have parts in their ballet production and dance with professional ballerinas which the kids think is the next best thing!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the way my daughter carries herself. She has more confidence. Her love of dance has grown two fold.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I don't see any changes that need to be made. They are willing to work with anyone, no matter financial status. This is a great organization.

SA Dance Theater has been a great self-esteem booster for our daughter. She not only learns about being a dancer, but has the opportunity to perform for underpriviledged children and our community as well. They ofer dancers a chance to be on stage with professional dancers. The shows they produce are professional. We feel blessed to be a part of this great organization!

the way that they treat the children that they work with. Also they way that they give back to our community inviting thousands of students from underprivileged areas to enjoy the dance shows for free.
