There is a wide gap between those who can access MHMR services and those who can afford insurance that covers mental health services. Safe Harbor Counseling Center's mission is to: 1) Provide a full range of counseling services which support and promote personal growth, positive family relationships, and emotional and spiritual well-being. 2) Provide these services fromthe perspective of Christian, biblically-based princiiples in order to equip the client to live a Christ-centered life in the home, vocation, and community. 3) Provide counseling service and support regardless of the client's financial status and withour regard to ethnicity, gender, age, marital status, or religious affiliation.

Reviews for Safe Harbor Counseling Center

Rating: 5 stars

Safe Harbor is a place I feel confident referring my friends and family to. There are 14 licensed counselors, each of whom specialize in certain areas of therapy. Whether a person needs marriage counseling, drug addiction help, or simply help with the every day stresses of school, home, and life, Safe Harbor has a counselor to meet those needs. There are also several play therapy counselors who work well with children. I've been very impressed with them!

Safe Harbor started with a one room donated office 7 years ago and has grown to contract with 14 counselors and 1 licensed psychologist to provide services. It is a great ministry and I am blessed to be a part of it.
