"Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms." (1 Peter 4:10) We help cancer patients and caregivers cope with the devastating effects that a cancer diagnosis can cause to one's life, while also helping those affected not to fear cancer. Approximately 15,000 people are diagnosed with cancer in San Diego each year. If you have the gifts of being a server, exhorter and have a heart of compassion toward others who are suffering mentally and physically from cancer, we welcome you to join us. You will have the opportunity to provide encouragement, education, resources, prayer, and hope in the sovereign plan of God.

When my dad was diagnosed with lung cancer, I became his primary caregiver. It was such a stressful time, and I was physically and emotionally exhausted. When my dad's church members came to our house to help clean our home, that act of kindness deeply moved me. I felt God's blessing through them. After my dad passed away, I wanted to have the same kind of impact on others. Rock Cancer C.A.R.E. was exactly what I was looking for; we share the love of Jesus Christ to ALL though our service to them. We have provided rides to chemo treatments, groceries, housecleaning, and babysitting. Every Monday night, there is an incredible support group that meets at the church. We have served everyone from all walks of life and beliefs.
