It was very easy to volunteer at the River. I just showed up to one of the pantry sessions and I was plugged right in to weighing food for clients. I was surprised how friendly everyone was--volunteers and clients.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
very down to earth and friendly.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
eliminate hunger in Dane County.
