Reviews for Richmond Goodwill Industries, Inc.

Goodwill of Central Virginia really does what they say! They are not only providing employment preparation and training programs but they do so much more. This school year they provide much needed assistance to the PTSAs at Chesterfield County Public Schools. They are known for supplying support services for the special needs individuals once they become adults.

Goodwill helped me get back on track after being released from the state penitentiary. Through Goodwill's Community Employment Center, I was able to access valuable job seeking services and counseling. I attended their Re-entry Workshop which gave me excellent advice and also provided me with professional interview attire -- a suit, 2 ties, shoes and a belt. I began interviewing and landed a part-time job in the restaurant industry. Like Goodwill suggested, I looked for opportunities to do more in my job, started doing those things, and was offered full-time employment shortly after joining the company. Now, I tell everyone about Goodwill and its Community Employment Centers. They helped me so much in the next steps of my life.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

so professional and knowledgable about career development and job searching.
