Mission:
The RFF mission is to support private sector initiatives that conserve natural resources on private lands and sustain rural communities, economies, and green businesses.
Results:
Since 2000, RFF has developed 3 national websites and 6 regional websites for landowners. In 2006, Willard Dyche received the USDA's Group Honor Award for Excellence for participating in the development of energy consumption awareness tools (http://www.privatelandownernetwork.org/toolbox/). We have granted 27,000 in funds to national conservation programs, developed over 17,000 pages of specialized information and garnered a following of close to 3 million page views per year. In 2010, we opened the Mississippi State Conservation Center, http://stateconservation.org/miss/

Resources First Foundation funds the Private Landowners Network that helps landowners find professionals to work on their land. With their help we now have a mapping function where landowners can find foresters who fit their needs. This is a great service to members of the Association of ... more »
