Mission: To operate a performing arts facility in flushing-meadows corona park, queens that provides professional productions and other programs in the dramatic, musical and related arts, encourages and facilitates the use of its facility as a resource center by other not-for-pr0fit organizations, and provides arts-in-education programming for youths including in-school workshops and live performing arts experience.
Programs: Special productions and community services - special productions made in association with other theatre groups and use of facilities by other organizations to promote the arts in queens. The 2013-2014 season included 31 performances to an audience of approximately 6,941 people.
theatre series - main stage and fully-staged productions of both established works and new plays and musicals as well as developmental readings and workshop productions of new works of theatre. The 2013-2014 season included 26 performances to an audience of approximately 3,430 people.
kids programs - main stage productions of classic children's stories and center stage education programs through the new york city council's "cultural after school adventures" program. The 2013-2014 season included 25 performances to an audience of approximately 6,128 people. The organization provided educational programming for an additional 1,386 students across 5 performances for school matinees.
cultural programs - performances of music, dance, theatre and film related to culturally specific themes performed by artists around the world. The 2013-2014 season included 12 performances to an audience of approximately 2,386 people.
