PROJECT HEALTHY SMILE

Target demographics: Children organizations and orphanages in impoverished countries.

Someone who had 3 hours of volunteer time could: We would like to introduce a new program for those who want to become directly involved in sustaining Project Healthy Smile’s mission to save smiles worldwide. The program is called the PHS Ambassador program and is a great opportunity for those looking to see their volunteer efforts make a direct impact on individuals. The program is great for volunteers and their community to become involved with because not only does it see to the basic needs of others, but it also is a great way to promote the sustainability of PHS’s programs in Haiti, Southeast Asia, and East Africa.

As a PHS Ambassador, you will represent PHS and create partnerships within your community to generate supply donations such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, and flouride treatments for those in need. If you have no experience with volunteering but would like to become involved, Project Healthy Smiles will assist you throughout the process.

The benefits of this program are the following:

1. Project Healthy Smile will work with you to develop a plan that fits the needs of appropriate supply program.

2. Once the plan is created and you have identified potential donors, you will execute the plan throughout your community. PHS will provide you with the appropriate marketing materials that will make your campaign successful!

3. Through working with your donors and PHS, the supplies will be shipped directly to the orphanages overseas. You will have the ability to see your local efforts positively impact children lives from across the world!

4. For those high school or college students who are seeking volunteer hours or credit, this is a great opportunity to become involved in. Through working with PHS you will gain experience in non-profit organization fundraising. You will also gain an understanding in the dynamics of working with a non-profit organization.
