Reviews for Pittsburgh Cares

Rating: 5 stars

Volunteering with Pittsburgh Cares has been an awesome experience. It has enhanced my time in this city and introduced me to some fabulous like-minded people. It offers painless signup and a variety of activities. My first volunteer activity was with the Shepherd Wellness Center, serving a holiday dinner. It was a great night, people were very open and volunteers were hailed. For a young professional looking to get involved and meet new people, Pittsburgh Cares is a great place to start!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

talking to those who benefitted from our time

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

There's nothing I would change at this point.

Pittsburgh Cares excels in connecting volunteers with nonprofits. Their Hands on Pittsburgh event draws in an impressive amount of volunteers each year working on various projects for area nonprofits. Pittsburgh is lucky to have such an amazing organization serving its community.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the amount of projects they receive and the amount of volunteers they engage

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the energy level of their volunteers, everyone seems excited about volunteering through Pittsburgh Cares

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

amazing! They are extremely hard working, responsive, and excitingly creative.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

change the world of volunteers! They have so many excellent ideas to not only connect volunteers with nonprofits but to connect them with meaningful projects. Any additional funding they received will be well deserved and utilized effectively and efficiently.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
