Get really wet interacting with our neighbors at our Summer Splash community gathering.
Prepare snacks for 100 kids in our academic enrichment program.

Geographic areas served: Within census tract 102 and zip code 33801 near heart of downtown Lakeland. Area served boundaries are In-Town Bypass to the south, Memorial Boulevard to the north, Ingraham Avenue to the east and Florida Avenue to the west.
Programs: Staff and volunteers impact lives wholistically through education, housing, community gatherings, Christmas Store, advocacy and through living in the neighborhood to establish relationships and share experiences.
Expanded year-round academic enrichment to serve 90 students, K through grade 8;
Added programs to serve high school students in academics, recreation and service;
Maintained a five year, 98% grade matriculation rate for academic enrichment students;
Filled 18, 30 yard dumpsters during neighborhood beautification projects;
Began renovation of three homes;
Built community through three gatherings with 250 attending each;
Provided annual neighborhood Christmas Store benefitting 257 children and their parents;
Advocated for families for housing, education, and jobs; and
Stabilization efforts contributed to 23% reduction in calls for police service from 2009-2011 (12,430 to 9582).
