I have used clients from PBHC for mass mailouts the past few month. The staff at PBHC have been very responsive to my needs and have bent over backwards to help get the job done.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

hiring of temporary workers to help get the job finished in a timely manner.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the quick response time that I have recieved from PBHC.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

job coaches and clients with disabilities that worked in my warehouse.

Ways to make it better...

I had steady work to keep the client's busy on a full time basis.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

One thing I'd also say is that...

I worked with PBHAB's job developer. I hired one of the candidates that she referred to me. The job developer was professional and worked side by side with the new hire. The job developer listened to our needs and expectations and guided the new hire accordingly.

the hire worked out. It was a good match. As she became more familiar, attention to task slipped. The coach did EVERYTHING she could, but the hire did not work out. Coach was the 1st to see the placement was not good 4 any of us.She made it ok 2 let her go

As in all volunteering, I recieve much more than I will ever give. The outstanding work of the clients on a variety of projects, the overall enjoyment of work with the clients, and the professionalism of the entire staff makes this a job I often wonder more people do not volunteer for. In the 3 years I've been here, I have never experienced anything but cooperation and hard work by all.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

all outstanding

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

expand the facility, the need for this is great.

I taught for over 7 years with student with learning dissabilities and I'm very happy and proud to be helping out now at the Palm Beach Habilitation Center (PBHC). The PBHC provides such a loving and caring envirnment for all the clients. I do not feel like I am going to work each morning, but that I'm going to spend time with my family. In addition to a welcoming and nurturing place, the PBHC puts great effort at providing the clients with the job skills and life skills needed in today's market. I really enjoy the Job Club where clients meet once a week in a small group setting and are given the opportunity to participate and role play proper etiquette.
