I have been a Board member since 2006 and I must say that this Non-Profit Organization ( MPoweringKids.org ) provides a tremendous service to children from this Nassau County, New York area. The staff and management have worked tirelessly for many years and the children's academic successes have provided the validation of their efforts.

The children are in the Top of their Classes and will be attending some of the finest collegiate institutions that this country has to offer.

I would recommend to any parent that they apply for their child's entrance into this organization and you can be rest assured that any Donations to this Non-Profit would be for an extremely GOOD CAUSE.

Serves selected promising students in Westbury LI School System. Students are helped along accademically as well as motivated to do the best they can. Life values are an important part of the program. Student population is multi cultural and I as a volunteer have never heard or seen any inappropriate behavor with regard to background or race of their peers. The life lessons must be working! Actually, even students who are not "promising" could use the values of this program.

watching the students interact with each other.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

seeing students grow as people

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

really great!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

expand to include more than "promising" students.

MPowering kids is such a great program! Im a college student that volunteers as a tutor, and the work I see these people do with these kids is unbelievable. They take the time to peer into the lives of these children on an academic, social, and emotional level that I know the kids greatly appreciate because it shows them how much they care about them. The coordinators help the students go above and beyond what they learn in classrooms and teach them lessons that help them become aware of their surroundings, as well as how to manage their life after middle school and highschool. Im very proud to be involved in such an outstanding program such as MPowering Kids! They truly are doing a great job with these kids! =)

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the lives of these children. They depend on and have worked with the coordinators for years and know that they have someone they can rely on.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

that they are grateful with anything and everything they get. They teach the children to be grateful and express gratitude on a daily basis to their volunteers.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

outstanding and genuily interested in the lives and improvment of these kids.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

maybe build a facility to bring all their kids together so that they can have everyone in one building.
