Mounds view softball association(mvsa) is committed to providing opportunities for girls to play fastpitch softball, promoting and supporting fastpitch softball in the mounds view 621 school district area, emphasizing development of fundamental softball skills in a fun, safe and competitive environment, and ensuring a postitive and rewarding experience to maximize personal and team growth.


Program 1: fastpitch softball league the organization organizes tournaments and clinics to promote the development of fundamental softball skills in a fun, safe and competitive environment. Participation is open to all girls ages 7-19 living in the mounds view school district. Program revenues consist largely of player registration fees.

scholarships and sponsorships: mvsa recognizes student athlete members that have made significant contributions in high school academics and athletics with college scholarships and sponsorships. College scholarship recipients must be members of mvsa for the last 3 years, academically eligible, played softball in their senior year of high school, involved in youth clinics, coaching, and/or umpiring during their mvsa career, and accepted to post-secondary school. In addition, the organization provides sponsorships to play in all-star tournaments. The players must be mvsa members for the last 3 years and help with clinics for younger girls during the summer season after their senior year in high school. The mvsa board of directors reviews all scholarship and sponsorship requests and approves awards.
