Mission: Provide medical and other services to underdeveloped countries, primarily in africa, under the auspices of various christian missionary organizations. The major activity is the construction of shallow wells for drinking water in remote african villages.
Programs: Medical personnel provided various services. Other missionaries installed shallow wells to obtain drinking water for thousands of africans.
Workers from this organization have made two trips to Africa each year to install shallow wells in remote villages, primarily in Malawi. Churches and individual donors can sponsor a well for $350, the low amount made possible by the work of the villagers in preparation and building, and the simplicity of the design - no electricity, but far better than drawing water from a dirty river. Their goal last year was 1000 shallow wells.
