Margaux's Miracle is an amazing organization that is dedicated to eradicating Ewing's Sarcoma and other rare cancers through advancing research and other medical efforts. The best part about MMF is that they don't just talk the talk - they work tirelessly to raise money and then donate it directly to the hospital so that researchers can devote their time and efforts to finding a cure. The people who run the organization are passionate, dedicated and hard-working. As both a volunteer and a professional in the cancer field, I am excited to nominate MMF for the Cancer Fighter Awards because they are serving such a specific need and have been able to produce tangible results in less than 10 years.
MMF is helping to advance the efforts to understand the nature of Ewing’s sarcoma, and to bring us closer to controlling and eventually curing this challenging disease and other childhood cancers. At Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, a research program in Margaux’s name has been underway for three years. Our goal is to make miracles happen for those who need them the most.
