Mission:
More than 10 million children die each year because of diseases such as diarrhea, measles, malaria and pneumonia. Nearly 4 million infants die each year before they are even a month old. And in Africa, disease kills at least one child every 30 seconds. Many of these diseases are easily prevented or treated with basic medication. But far too often, such medication is simply not available.For more than half a century, MAP International has promoted the Total Health of the world''s poor by working to provide essential medicines, prevent and eradicate disease, and promote community health development.
