Lutheran Social Services of Michigan is currently being investigated for Federal Fair Housing violations and Federal Employment Discrimination violations. The investigations are ongoing and should be considered serious.

Lutheran Social Services of Michigan provides many services to support children and families, the disabled and senior adults in Michigan. Lutheran Social Services takes its obligations under federal and state Fair Housing and employment laws very seriously. The organization is confident that the investigations mentioned here will reveal these charges to be without merit. Individuals who are interested in learning more about Lutheran Social Services of Michigan's housing and employment policies should contact the organization directly at info@lssm.org.

I've seen some of the work these people do, and all I want to say is that their love for other people, their concern for others' welfare, their care for all the people in their area--well, these qualities just show the great potential of human beings for goodness. We live in a world of many evils and much suffering; LSSM shows there's another side, a beautiful side to this world. You ask for details and specific examples, but I prefer to stay anonymous.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

How they help refugees

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

be thankful every day for the staff's true spirit of caring

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Sorry, I prefer not to be specific

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

committed, caring, loving

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

save the world

Ways to make it better...

like all nonprofits in SE Michigan, they desperately need funds

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

helping a depressed area

One thing I'd also say is that...
