Long Islnad traditions is an essential organization for Long island. They promote the works, backgrounds, and histories that have created and are still creating the culture of the area. Long Island is often thought of as not having traditions, an identifiable history, or an important place in the development of our country. This mindset is as true of those who live here as well as those from other areas. Long Island Traditions gives us all a sense of place, history, and importance while safeguarding the arts, traditions, and occupations of those who create our home. Without Long Island Traditions, there would be a great void, and perhaps, a great loss of what makes Long Island the unique place it is.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

action over a number of years. I have successfully presented their programs, joined as a member, and been an attendee at their events. Always a fabulous experience no matter what role I play.
