Long Island Gay and Lesbian Youth, Inc. Overview
LIGALY is a bi-county (Nassau and Suffolk), not-for-profit, human services agency which offers education, advocacy and social support services to Long Island’s gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) youth and young adults, and all youth, young adults and their families for whom sexuality, sexual identity, gender identity and HIV/AIDS are an issue. Our goals are to empower them, advocate for their diverse interests and to educate society about them.

they announced they raised over $250k in May 2013 for their 20yr gala and at the event asked for more money for a new van .... raised $40k during the event for the van .... it's now November and NO NEW VAN for the youth .... not the first time this has happened unfortunately where they ask for money...
