Mission: Through the performance and advancement of symphonic music, Lincoln''s SymphonyOrchestra will enrich, educate and entertain current and potential audiences.
Programs: Lincoln's Symphony Orchestra has a concert season that includes five classical concerts, two family concerts, a holiday pops concert, a jazz pops concert, and a free outdoor summer concert. Each season we present several concerts and projects specifically designed to meet the needs of our community through symphonic music. Concert attendance for the 2006-07 season exceeded 10,000 attendees in our regular concert season; 4,000 elementary students at our Young People's Concerts; and our 81st season kicked off this summer with the second "Uncle Sam Jam," a free community concert as a part of the City of Lincoln?s annual July 4 celebration, which reaches more than 30,000 people.
