Kuddle Kids was founded in 2000 to preserve the adoption of children with emotional disorders due to prior abuse. Without specialized therapy and adequate support, adopted children who suffered from abuse, neglect and abandonment during their formative years, may become a danger to themselves, their families, and the community.Families without the financial ability to pay for therapy are left with the options of dissolving the adoption by giving their child back to the state, placing the child in foster care, or endangering other family members, the child, and members of the community by keeping the child at home. Kuddle Kids was formed to provide consistent financial assistance for appropriate therapeutic care while maintaining the adopted child within the walls of a loving home.
