Issues: Philanthropy, Women

Location: 3515 Linden Ave. Long Beach CA 90807 USA

Mission: Since 1931, the Junior League of Long Beach has sought out needs in the community and developed special projects to fill those needs. Many of our projects have, in time, become self-sustaining organizations and non-profits in the community. Our focus is on the welfare of children, especially at-risk youth. In addition to the real impact they make in the community, JLLB members are given opportunities for development of leadership, personal and professional skills through researching, funding and implementing our community projects, as well as through the Junior League's training programs and community involvement.

A small but mighty group of women who seek to improve their community and themselves. The Junior League is a nationally known organization and our Long Beach branch is all volunteer run and dedicated to training women to be leaders while meeting a need in the community. We seek members who can give time and financial support to our projects and activities. Look for us on facebook or at the website - www.jllb.org.
