This organization has been helping children and underprivileged individuals for the last thirteen years my time with then has been very fulfilling as I have been able to see change in the lives that come in to contact with them. They have been running an orphanage for over 12 years and are helping to give medical, educational, computer, and food to those in need. Currently they have over 650 children in the orphanage.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the lives of the children coming out of being on the streets to now having a dream of being a vital role in the community.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
try to increase the awareness of it's mission and enlist others to come and assist in the huge undertaking that is taking place
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Is the way that they see everyone as important and valuable and they do not look down on them for any reason.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
from the director to the gardener, they all are helpful and considerate not thinking that they are above any job, very humble!
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
reach so many more children, and take them out of their environment of loveless and hope less situation and give them the things that every one need. They could hire the staff needed, they could expand the facilities. They would be more effective.
Ways to make it better...
More volunteers were available
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
the need of more resources both financially as well as hands on labor.
One thing I'd also say is that...
It has been a true pleasure volunteering with the organization on and off over the last 12 years. I would love to be more involved in the years to come.
