Currently serving as the Region 2 Director for InterPride has allowed me to see first hand the vital role this organization plays in helping to build community within North America and World Wide.
As Festival Organizer for The Tacoma Rainbow Center-Out In Tacoma, our membership has allowed us to network and build long lasting relationships with other Pride Organizations, Given us valuable education opportunities on the regional and national level as well as connected us with National and International Sponsoring businesses.

Beside promoting Pride within communities around the globe InterPride also work on the issue of Human Rights. Until all people have EQUALITY/HUMAN RIGHTS none of us do. This is based on not only Sexual Orientation/identity but all areas of Human Rights.
While many in parts of the world enjoy more equality, others fight and die daily for just being whom they are.
It is up to all of us as Pride Organizers and Individuals to promote Human Rights for ALL on all levels daily.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Through continued education in regards to Pride Festivals/Rallys and Parades. Personal growth through workshops on Transgender issues, Seniors of our Community and Youth issues.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Try to promote its message and work on as broad of scale as allowable.
