Her Justice gave me my life back!

I was an immigrant woman who fell in love and married the man I believed to be the man of my dreams. It turned out to be a huge nightmare. After 2 children and several years of abuse . I decided to return to my country , only to find out I would not be able to take my kids. I could not support them since I was undocumented and i could not run with ..until I found Her Justice. This organization help me with my self esteem my children and help me gain legal status. I am now able to support myself and my kids and we are safe and free from the abuser.

Her Justice has a vital mission and performs it very well--by bringing world-class legal talent to bear for its clients. Its support network is impressive, and the attorneys who perform work on its behalf are passionate about the opportunity to help the women whose lives they are empowered to improve. I have worked with many of these attorneys and am consistently inspired by the impact that they--and Her Justice--are able to have.

Her Justice is a five-star organization in every sense. Working with NYC law firms, it provides free legal services to women who have faced unimaginable hardship, often involving poverty and domestic violence. Over the past four years, I have had the opportunity to meet many of Her Justice's clients, and their strength is inspiring. Her Justice helps those women reclaim their lives. Her Justice has been an important part of my development as a lawyer, and I would strongly encourage young lawyers to get involved.

It's hard to overstate the influence that Her Justice has on the lives of courageous women who need a hand. In my time as a volunteer I have seen first-hand the difference that legal representation makes to Her Justice's clients, and the encouragement they find at Her Justice. I have had myriad clients tell me how their lives changed as a result of the work that Her Justice does, and how they found hope at Her Justice that they previously thought might have been impossible. Many of these women would have no other support if not for Her Justice.

It is a truly one-of-a-kind organization!

I'm proud to support their work.
