My family and I visited Hawk Creek during one of their Renaissance festivals. We took tours of different facilities, and even got to meet a few raptors up close! It was an extremely educational experience, but I couldn't help but notice that they need more space. The program they run is amazing, and they're really trying to make their breeding program successful. I highly recommend Hawk Creek, and I think they'd benefit from a generous donation so they can keep improving their facilities and increase their educational reach.

Our day at Hawk Creek was wonderful & educational. We enjoyed seeing all the animals & especially the opportunities to photograph them up close. The staff interacted well with my grandchildren and all the activities were fun. We hope to make an annual visit there - we'd visit more if we lived closer.

My skillset wasn't used well by the staff, and on the whole I felt I wasn't treated well, so I chose to stop going there and work at another local rehab center.

Hawk Creek is an amazing center with the focus on the care and management of Wildlife from all over. The education programs and special events they have are inspiring. Learning how to take care of local wildlife in some cases is very helpful, and if beyond one's expertise, you know where to go for help. I have taken the Wildlife Rehabilitation weekend course recently...the instructors, Matt and Tanya, were great!! They know so much info and left me feeling proud to live close to this center and know they are there for our community.

I have been volunteering here for about 7 months and I love it here. I am currently doing an internship here that is unpaid because I wanted to spend more free time here. I love everything that Hawk Creek stands for. It is so important that people are educated about wildlife and wildlife conservation. There are so many things that impact wildlife that we humans do. Things such as pesticides and pollution has had significant impacts on many many different species. All of the animals here are fantastic and really are crucial to educating others. Aside from the animals, the staff really care about the cause and feel extremely passionate about their goal and mission!

Hawk Creek does way more than just rescue and rehabilitate wildlife. They are very active in the community, bringing their knowledge and love of animals and the environment to people of all ages. Having participated in the public outreach, I've seen how exposure to these special animals and the information presented gets people excited about supporting conservation and rehabilitation.
