Mission:
WHRO will meet the educational, informational and cultural needs of the people of Southeastern Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina through non-commercial broadcasting and educational telecommunications technologies and services, thereby improving and enriching the quality of life for people of the region. Consistent with this mission and its tradition, WHRO will continue to explore, research, demonstrate, create and distribute software (programming) and train others in its application to learning and public service.

Racist, Sexist and in general a disgrace to the public they serve. WHRO “claims” to be a free and fair contributor to the communities around them. They are far from this. I am a White Male and my wife is a White Female. They broadcast shows portraying women and other races in lives that are ...
