forums-to-action (f2a): multi-year, campus-based teams increasing energy literacy and launching student-led clean energy projects. Currently active in 32 states.

other programs: focus the nation approaches our clean energy leadership development programming through our collaboration quadrants model. All ftn programming builds teams of technicians, politicos, storytellers and politicos. We have a network of energy industry partners and experts that seek out ftn talent and offer mentorship, internships and employment to top performing students in our programs. Focus roots fellowships: a select number of fellowships are awarded each year to individuals with the most innovative and creative ideas to move their community beyond coal and toward clean, renewable energy systems. There have been five roots fellows to date, all projects are still in operation and have touched nearly 100,000 people's lives since the summer of 2008.
