Causes: Education, Educational Services

Mission: The greater tampa chamber of commerce foundation exists to support the chamber in its mission to serve our members and enhance our community by building business success. It accomplishes this through several ongoing leadership development and educational programs.

Programs: Since 1971, leadership tampa has been introducing its class members to major facets of the greater tampa community through an intensive nine-month course. Founded by the chamber, leadership tampa's members participate in educational sessions, tours and candid conversations with influential members of the community. The program is designed to connect up-and-coming leaders with the needs of tampa bay so that upon graduation they are engaged in building a better community.

emerge tampa bay is a leadership program of the chamber designed for emerging leaders ages 21 to 35. The concept for emerge tampa bay stemmed from an initiative of the chamber and the community to recruit and retain talent in the greater tampa area. The program encourages growth of young professionals through community service projects, public policy engagement, professional development and social interaction.
