Reviews for Goonj

Rating: 5 stars

I am a volunteer from Bangalore and proud to be associated with goonj. They do commendable work for rural poor, especially women. Cloth for work program is innovative and has achieved incredible positive results in rural areas. This movement should be encouraged.

I have been volunteering for Goonj from time to time and have found them to be an excellent non-profit organization who keep finding innovative ways to reach out to needy people. Their pathbreaking campaigns such as 'Rahat Floods' and 'Not just a piece of cloth' have helped millions of people all across India.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

their flood relief campaigns. I have seen the far reaching effects of their hard work and generosity.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

warm and friendly

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

reach out to even more needy people in India and make a huge difference to their lives. It could do what the government could not and implant hope, strength and confidence in the people.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every six months
