The mission of Global Wildlife Conservation is to use the best science to protect the world’s threatened wildlife and habitats.

Global wildlife conservation works with regional and international partners to implement projects targeting threatened species around the globe. These projects are the last hope for many species. In some cases, the species of concern have been declining steadily throughout their range and, without any action, face almost certain extinction over the next few years or decades. In a few instances, only months stand between survival and extinction.

exploration provides the foundation for species and habitat conservation. In order to protect the most threatened species and places on earth, we must first know what and where they are. Exploration is urgently needed for many biodiversity rich areas of the world. Wildlife explorers, gwc staff and partners have wide experience planning, organizing and implementing large and small scale biodiversity expeditions to remote unexplored areas of the world. Louis, I'm not sure if have visited our website recently, but we work "on the ground" in over 30 countries around the world. We have very little presence in the US, and the vast majority of our people and resources are devoted to working with local non-profits, their community partners, and governments to effectively conserve biodiversity. We welcome all donations and ensure that contributions are sent directly to the field project of your choice. All of our administrative and development costs are completely covered by our core donors, and all additional donations go straight to field projects. I hope we can change your mind about our direct impact on conservation. Please feel free to contact me directly if you would like more information.

The scientists and conservationists who volunteer their time for GWC are passionate committed and have dedicated so much time and energy to assemble the best team possible to protect the worlds most endangered species. They are working with LOCAL organizations globally, partnering with people who know the land and the country and are utilizing resources effectively to acquire land to be protected by local agencies. I am proud to volunteer along side these dedicated and organized individuals who are experts in this field as well as incredibly successful at what they do. There is a great team behind Global Wildlife Conservation, a cause in need of more support and awareness.
