A wonderful resource for anyone dealing with cancer. I was the caregiver for my partner who had lung cancer. Excellent community feeling and superb relative information.

So glad to have found GRACE in the beginning of my lung cancer journey. Dr. West and colleagues have helped me answer questions and research my lung cancer. I'm forever grateful to Dr. West and the GRACE site for all they do.

As a 7 year lung cancer survivor GRACE has, over the years, provided excellent and timely information about treatments present and future. It has allowed me to open a more informed and positive dialog with my oncologist. He often now asks, "what do you hear from the West Coast."

GRACE provides an excellent educational forum for cancer survivors to deal with lung cancer. After speaking with five doctors and getting many different opinions, Dr. West at GRACE helped greatly with sorting out the differing opinions and understanding why there is a difference of opinion. I was shocked when I sent an email and a highly informed, well respected oncologist gave me a clear, concise explanation of my situation within a couple of hours. Unfortunately, with lung cancer there are more unknown issues than known answers, but if we are ever to find a cure for this disease it will be by using the creative, rational, well thought out approach applied by the doctors who work for GRACE.

Lung Cancer is a very complicated disease with many confusing varieties and one of the most deadliest killers. GRACE provides an excellent educational forum for cancer survivors and caretakers to navigate this complicated disease. This is a great resource which brings clarities to the underlying disease and provides available options especially for those who are recently diagnosed.

This site is founded by a very compassionate oncologist who dedicated susubstantial amount of his time with a goal to educate survivors caretakers such that they can be a proactive partner in the battle against cancer. Questions posted on this site are often answered within a few hours within the same day by the founder or a panel of faculty who are all qualified and credible practicing oncologlsts.

The often hostd podcasts and webinars on GRACE with guests from the industry experts are great resources to stay up to date in the latest trend in battling this beast.

I owed it to this site in my effort to climb the steep learning curve in understanding my own disease while searching for solutions to prolong my life. A big thank you to all the compassionate doctors at Grace and all the volunteers in making this the best luing cancer research web site, in my humble opinion.

CancerGRACE is a wonderful resource for cancer patients and their caregivers. As a person diagnosed with stage IIIB lung cancer, I was so happy to find a website that is not just a place for patients to share, but is led by and moderated by medical doctors. It provides much more than just patient-to-patient communication - there are regular podcasts, interviews with medical professionals, and links to other resources. The doctor who started the site and those who contribute are so helpful, humane, and knowledgeable. It's especially great to have a chance to get support and advice from professionals who also are very caring. It's also a very good site when questions about alternative treatments, possible scams, and questionable treatments arise.
There is also a social worker who contributes to the site, one who has years of experience with cancer patients and families.
CancerGRACE gives us advice, comfort, and a safe place to turn.

GRACE has been a most valuable source of information and education throughout my lung cancer journey. The generosity of the doctors (and fellow travelers) of their time and knowledge is remarkable. You can find inspiration and personal experiences here and elsewhere. You can find data and facts here and elsewhere. But to find a place that can answer questions knowledgeably and translate the data into words that I can understand? GRACE is the place. GRACE has made me a much better informed patient and has made it far easier for me to have valuable discussions with my oncologist during our appointments.
