It is a common understanding that today, worldwide, 1 in 3 women can expect to be beaten, raped and/or abused in their lifetime. This is unworthy of us as a species and we seek to eliminate Violence Against Women and children on a global basis within the next 40 years.
It will be accomplished through Education and Healthcare by constructing and delivering models of effectiveness in thinking and behavior.
The Founder, Dr. Reeta Thukral has operated this Foundation for the last 6 years and she has provided all of the funding personally.
It is time for this Foundation to rise in its impact and we are performing the Fund Raising efforts to have a wonderful event in Las Vegas at Treasure Island Resort and Casino on February 25, 2012.
The people that are participating in this are amazing and more help will make a huge difference.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
I have seen the results in the form of the quality of people who are helping and how they are helping. MK Automotive has car repair centers in Las Vegas and is helping one selected woman each month by making sure her car runs reliably and productively for her. They will do this once a month for the next year. They are amazing in their thinking and generosity.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I would give it more resources to expand its Model Making and testing in local areas so that it can be delivered more quickly over a larger area.
Would you volunteer for this group again?
For the time you spent, how much of an impact did you feel your work or activity had?
Did the organization use your time wisely?
Would you recommend this group to a friend?
What one change could this group make that would improve your volunteer experience?
More volunteers to share the load. I would like to see a lot of people do just a little versus a few do a lot.
Did your volunteer experience have an effect on you? (teaching you a new skill, or introducing new friends, etc.)
not so far, but things will occur with time and activity.
How did this volunteer experience make you feel?
This is a very satisfying and fulfilling activity because the local actions will be scaled globally.
