Reviews for Glass Alliance-New Mexico

This organization brings together collectors, artists and gallery / dealers. As the largest regional chapter of Art Alliance for Contemporary Glass, the programming is year round, provides Maestro programming and supports an "Art Experience - Experience Art" slogan. With member support, Glass Alliance - New Mexico has been able to provide three scholarships to the Pilchuck Glass School and the Aliento Glass School for deserving New Mexico artists.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

increased number of galleries that represent artists working with hot, warm and cold glass.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

increase the dues so that they could hire an executive director.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

access to artist studios and collectors of contemporary studio glass art.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

knowledgeable artistic and enthusiastic about art glass, architectural glass and collections.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

expand its educational opportunities and bring more Maestro artists to New Mexico.

Ways to make it better...

all contemporary art galleries would represent at least one sculpture from New Mexico working with glass.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

One thing I'd also say is that...

Betsy Ehrenberg, its founding Board president, is passionate, organized and focused on the artists, collectors and gallery members. Good job, Betsy.
