Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Our dream is that every girl who wants to be a Girl Scout has the opportunity to do so. Girl Scouting opens up new worlds to girls who might not otherwise have the means, from traveling abroad to community service. The sky's the limit in Girl Scouting.

Reviews for GIRL SCOUTS OF EASTERN WASHINGTON & NORTHERN IDAHO
Girl Scouts is a very worthy program for girls. All girls are welcome regardless of any socioeconomic status, race and religion. Girls gain strengths by participating in activities that reflect their mission statement of building girls of courage, confidence, character by giving them oportunities to participate in STEM activities (science, technology, electronics and math) participating in leadership programs (Journeys) to help prepare them for college, in a fun atmosphere where they get to learn with other girls by doing, leading, and participating in skill-building activities (badges) to gain hard skills for the future. In addition girls have the oportunity to participate in travel expeditions (Destinations) to places in the US and throughout the world, whether as an internship type situation or service project or just for the fun and experience. So many oportunities are available for the girls to take advantage of. They learn to earn money to finance their interest projects and valuable budgeting skills through programs like the Girl Scout cookie program. Oportunities are truly endless.
