Girl Scouts is more than cookies. They focus on developing leadership skills in girls. Recently i had the opportunity to meet with some girls at the GSHNJ camp to hear a presentation about the camp. Here were two girls ages 9 and 11 speaking to a group of adults with the poise rarely seen in adults. The is a great organization.

Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey (GSHNJ) is one of the premiere organizations for young women in our community (GSHNJ supports Hudson, Essex, Union, Somerset, Hunterdon and parts of Middlesex and Warren Counties). I have attended a number of centennial Council events, including a butterfly release and the B.I.G. concert. I have never been surrounded by so many helpful volunteers and staff! Each event ran smoothly and helped an excellent cause!
