My experience with Generation Fate is one that has effected my life in a positive and life-changing way. The organization is filled with people who have genuine care and concern for our youth and the fate of our future. One of my favorite experiences with Generation Fate was when we carried a youth up clouds rest in Yosemite. An amazing youth who suffers from a severe handicap in confined to a wheelchair and had the dream to hike Yosemite. A group of young adults including myself came together through Generation Fate and helped this dream become a reality. At the top of the mountain seeing this youth have the realization of a dream come true effected everyone involved. Generation Fate thrives in helping today's youth and has brought me inspiration and passion for youth. I have since traveled abroad with a non-profit, but my experiences with Generation Fate are always with me.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
relationship building that has resulted in encouragement, inspiration and character building within myself and the youth we assist.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
seek more volunteers.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the relationships and friendships build within the community.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
dedicated, passionate and positive to be around, that have become life long friends.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
help foster youth have consistent and uplifting relationships that provide stability and encouragement for a bright future.
Ways to make it better...
I could have volunteered more time or been staff with the right funding.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
funding and the need for more community involvement.
One thing I'd also say is that...
Generation Fate symbolizes the heart and determination to change the statistics of foster youth, creating a future of education and success.
