Programs: Educational aids, materials and supplies were provided for 4,000 students in rural guatemala. Funding was also provided to pay teachers' wages at two schools in the patzicia area. School tuition and school supplies were provided for many low income children. The schools were also able to offer a nutritional supplement program.
emergency medical services were provided for many guatemala families. These services also included repairing and reconstructing homes destroyed by fire. Aid was also given to the annual indian folklore festival in santa cruz verapaz, along with other community events. Funding was provided to assist with several burials and funerals.
