Mission:
The Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano provides an efficient, coordinated system for collecting and distributing food that reduces food waste and increases public awareness about the issues surrounding hunger and food security issues in Contra Costa and Solano counties.
Results:
The Food Bank feeds over 100,000 people every month - 30% more people than two years ago - through direct services and 178 member agencies.

I come every month for 3 hours to sort food. I bring a group of 15 teenagers who love the opportunity to help and see that they can easily help get food to people. We inspect and sort the food so it can go out to people in need. The staff is friendly and truly caring! A great place to make a ...
