This organization is a leading community arts center that utilizes the outcomes of its programming to improve its community educationally, socially, economically, and culturally. Hamilton is a city of 63,000 located in Butler County, Ohio, population 368,000. The Fitton Center changes lives and builds community while providing meaningful arts experiences for all ages and all socioeconomic segments. Annually, this arts center touches the lives of over 100,000 participants. Programs created here have included: SPECTRA+ (arts education and reserach), Riverside Academy (arts teacher graduate program), Music Cafe (non-audtioned music performance), Mad Anthony Theatre Co. (repertory theatre), Celebrating Self (luncheon series), Options Academy-the Arts (arts high school), EntertainmentPLUS!, (performing arts series), Fitton Family Fridays (children's performance series), in addition to classes, workshops, exhibitions, and performances.
