Donating to this cause to help make dreams come through for many youth that are in desperate need of our help was and is still the best thing I have ever done in my life. Having seen real kids that went through the services of this organization and the positive impact it made in their lives was a very good feeling for me and my family. I will recommend this organization to any donor out there. Please feel free to share with your network and those you know are dedicated to making a positive impact in young people’s lives.

Through this organizaation, they are
• Reducing the high school dropout rate
• Reducing the unemployment rate among at-risk urban youth
• Providing supplemental educational support to youth with learning disabilities
• Training and developing youth entrepreneurs
• Promoting healthy life choices through relationships and resources

Please help them!

This is a stellar organization. I love them. They need to continue to stay on the part that they are in. No changes to be recommended so far.

I have had the opportunity to work closely with this organization over a period of 9 months. Suffice it to say that this organization is changing the lives of youth in a very positive way. While I was with this organization serving under their workforce development pilot program initiative, we enrolled approximately 75 at-risk youth from both the Augusta, Georgia and metro-Atlanta, Georgia areas into the program. 60 percent of youth served were successful in finding their first jobs within 6 months of enrollment. 55 percent retained their first jobs over 90 days of employment. From the success of this pilot program, the organization has enrolled 125 youth this year alone. This organization needs your support to continue to improve the lives of our youth.

In this uncertain economic time, First Foundation Kids, Inc (FFK) counts on your support – now more than ever. Your gift is extremely important to this organization because it provides resources that make an immediate impact – that will help kids through these interesting – and tough – times.

The organization has expanded its successful pilot program this year to assist additional 125 at-risk youth (ages 16- 21) including 75 emancipated foster kids through:
• a 16-week plan focusing on intensive education, employment/job readiness, vocational skills, and workforce development.

•Job Readiness Training that will:
Improve proficiency in subjects such as English & math.
Expand computer literacy, customer service, life and work skills.
Career advice, vocational skills development, job and entrepreneurship training.

•Job Placement - Access to computers, job search resources, and pre-screened employers.
This program is helping participants understand how their talents and passions translate to skills
valued in today's economy, develop the skills needed to enter employment in their field of interest.

Your gift of $100, $500, $1,000 or $5,000 can make all the difference…… to their volunteers, their educators, their mentors, and their staff – to every one here who works to support the kids.

And if you’d like, you can specify your gift to a particular department or program – Youth Education, Youth Workforce Development, Youth Vocational Skills Development, Youth Job Placement – where ever you choose.

Please consider making as generous a gift as you can to this organization. Your donation will make a world of difference. I promise you.

The non-profit sector is being increasingly presured to provide evidence that its resources have improved the lives of clients, regardless of the size of the organization. The First Foundation Kids, Inc. through its pilot programs in 2012 particularly in areas of education, job readiness and vocational skills development has proven its commitment to youth development by increasing their educational achievement rate by 75% of 125 program participants. 60% of these participants have found their first jobs and overwhelming majority of these youth are preparing for secondary education. I'll recommend this organization to any donor or client.
