Erection and maintenance of public buildings
In calender year 2005 the foundation continued its effort to complete the work in progress in the public area at fallen leaf. That work included the rehabilitation of the historic old store building and its conversion into the community center and a center for the study of the ecology of the fallen leaf lake basin. We have worked closely with regulatory agencies such as the tahoe regional planning agency to complete our compliance with regulatory obligations imposed by those agencies. It is anticipated that final approvals will be obtained in calendar year 2010.
