I first met Allie in the Summer of 2006 when she overheard me telling a story about my dog. Since that time she has started this organization and has helped countless individuals and their dogs. She has found homes for shelter dogs, helped people locate lost pets through her vast network of resources and provided endless amounts of information on vaccinations and other health/housing issues for Rottweilers. She generously shares all of her resources and joyfully spends countless hours of her time helping animals. I have never met anyone more passionate about helping animals than Allie.

Fairy Rottmother has saved the lives of my innocent dogs that would have been killed if that organization had not stepped in.

I founded The Fairy Rottmother in 2008 in an effort to help rescue the reputation of Rottweilers. Stereotypes are nothing more than a device for the ignorant to avoid having to learn the truth. We use every penny donated to us to help other rescues fostering rottweilers as well as educate the public about the breed. Thank you for caring and thank you for your donations. We believe the more support, the greater the impact. We always welcome suggestions and idea to help us make a larger impact.

Since I formed FRM, I have helped rescue rottweilers from local shelters as well as respond to pleas from other states.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The joy of seeing a rottweiler destined for death, being placed in a loving home. I also enjoy hearing "wow, I had no idea rottweilers were so friendly!"

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Our Board is comprised of rottweiler owners and trainers that have been personally affected by the breed stereotypes and want to help change this.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

We don't need 10 million bucks, we need 10 million people to be educated about the breed and understand that with proper breeding, training, and cars, rottweilers are wonderful dogs not to be feared.
