Went to see Thoroughly Modern Millie with this group last summer - it was excellent! The show was visually stunning, the singing and dancing was incredible. Every element of this show was wonderful. The scenery and costumes were beautiful and creative, the orchestra was excellent and extremely professional, the choreography and the dancers were just marvelous - we didn't want the dancing to end! We can not wait to see more shows with this theatre group! If you want to see a professional, exciting evening of theatre, support this group! You won't find a better show around!

Exit 82 with it's first production of Thoroughly Modern Millies, did a fantastic performance. Everything from lighting to costumes and stage props was done with great care. The performances by the actors were all very entertaining. i can't wait for the next performance this summer. you can count on me to be there. our town desperately needs more arts and culture. Thank you exit 82, for helping our community be a better place to live.

We have seen some of the actors from this company in the past performances. It was exciting when they decided to form their own company. We attended their initial performance last summer and found it completely professional and extrmely well done. The actors were great and the sets, etc supported the efforts of the actors.

The Exit 82 Theater group was conceived and brought to the Toms River Community last year. The principals spent long hours researching how best to achieve their goals. We do not live in Tom’s River, but support the endeavors of this young and talented group. We thoroughly enjoyed their production last summer and look forward to seeing their next creative work. We support this group as they strive to raise money for their work, and as they succeed in their goals to provide Toms River and NJ with quality entertainment. Their work has so many benefits; to the community, to the folks who participate in their theater company, and to each of us as we applaud the work of these ambitious, hard working young entrepreneurs. If you are looking to invest in honest, talented and dedicated people in the field of arts, stop now and write out your check to Exit 82!

I have thoroughly enjoyed all exit 82 events and performances... and love to participate as a volunteer! This group is so talented and they seem to thrive on community participation. Hey, over 1300 attendees in 4 shows last year! What a great first season. I can't wait for season two to commence!!! Peter

Congratulations to EXIT 82 for an outstanding debut season! I could not believe what 4 young, ambitious people were able to create when they began with virtually no budget. Everything from the scenery and lighting to the acting, dancing and singing was top notch! Everyone in the audience from young to old was caught up in the magic. Kudos to the company for providing sign language interpreters for one of their performances as well. I wish them good luck and continued success.

their ability to succeed despite great odds. They were so determined to bring more of the arts to their community no matter how often they were told it would be too difficult to do or how many obstacles they faced.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

perhaps buy a building and expand their program to include classes. Who knows; the sky would be the limit!

It was an absolute privilege to be a member of Exit 82's inaugural season as a cast member in "On the Town." Everyone involved with the production was incredibly gifted, driven, and completely professional. The bonds I was able to form with fellow cast members, production staff members, and others involved with the company will not be forgotten anytime soon. While, sadly, the arts are frequently overlooked in the Toms River area, Exit 82 provides an opportunity for aspiring and seasoned performers to share their gifts and love of the theatre with the community. I look forward to the growth and development of this organization and highly anticipate becoming involved with this upcoming summer's production of "Thoroughly Modern Millie."

I saw Exit 82's inaugural performance of "On The Town" last season. It was great. You'd think the kick-off performance of any new theater company would have exhibited a few glitches, but if there were any, I didn't notice. In fact, I found out weeks after closing that the pianist who was supposed to work the show and who had rehearsed with the group sprained his wrist three days before opening night and couldn't do the gig. The music director and one of the performers played instead, and it was flawless, as far as I could tell. The pit was tight as a drum, and the vocalists were outstanding, and their acting was great, too. I hear that "Millie" is going to be at Toms River High School North, which has a nice auditorium. I really look forward to it, and I'll be telling all my theater friends and acquaintances about it.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

. . . pay ALL its performers and musicians a union wage; put on several shows a year; find its own dedicated theater; produce original works; hold ticket prices down.

Exit 82 is a fantastic organization who successfully started a community theater in the Toms River area. They were professional, organized and a great deal of fun to work with making the community theater experience what it should be. I loved working with them and hope to do so again in the coming season. I have done community and paid theater and can easily say they are off to a great start. Would like to see them continue the musicals with a variety to appeal to all ages.

This was my first community theatre experience. Since it was in my home town, I wanted to be a part of it and see what it offered. The experience was great! I hope to keep in touch and support this company in the future. :-)
