Target demographics: The museum’s target audience is families.  Our in-house education programs are geared towards children between the ages of 6 and 13.  Our outreach programs are targeted towards children in elementary school.

Direct beneficiaries per year: 15000

Someone who had 3 hours of volunteer time could: 1. Assist with front desk operations: collecting admission and running the gift store. 

2.  Serve as a docent to assist museum visitors.

3.  Assist during field trips.

The Emerald Coast Science Center is full of potential. From the outside it looks small, but once you go in you are greeted with four areas to explore different parts of science. Our experience with the Emerald Coast Science Center has always been exciting and new. Each summer I bring my children along with their friends to explore and play at the Science Center.
