This Daycare/Afterschool facility is geared toward Special Needs children/teens. They have Therapists on staff to attend to the children's therapies needed which is convenient, and a nurse on staff to take care of the medical needs.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
meeting the needs of the children with Speech, Occupational, Physical Therapy, and Early Intervention; along with their medical needs.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
really like to push for a facility built for DLC Nurse & Learn, Inc so the children have more room to play and learn.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
friendly, professional, empathetic.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
finally build a wonderful daycare/after school facility to house children with special needs and give them a wonderful experience that they may not get elsewhere.
Ways to make it better...
Having a nurse available from open to close.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
small rooms that can only have so many children (need more room to provide daycare/after school care for alot more children with special needs).
One thing I'd also say is that...
if a courthouse can be built for millions of dollars to house our judicial branch staff, why can't there be a daycare/after school care facility be built for a Million to house our children with special needs so they have somewhere extremely nice to go to.
